Anantnag, Jan 19 (UNI) A civilian was injured when militants hurled a hand grenade towards the security forces in this south Kashmir district on Saturday afternoon, official sources said.
This was the fifth such grenade attack by militants in the Kashmir valley, where security forces were put on high alert again following inputs that attempts would be made to cause disturbance on or before the Republic Day (RD) functions on January 26.
Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit has claimed responsibility for most of these attacks.
