City students design innovative masks

Kolkata, Jun 27 (UNI) Students of a local institute have designed innovative masks with additional features as part of an assignment.
The youngsters of JD Birla Institute, Department of Textile Science, Clothing & Fashion Studies, recently designed these masks. In view of today’s scenario they were given the assignment which helps them to promote and develop their skills through making of face masks during the current pandemic.
The Covid-19 global pandemic has put an immense strain on the already overburdened educational systems across the country.

The Directorate of Teacher Education and State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT )launched the Dashboard in collaboration with UNICEF, Odisha and technical support from Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC).
