CITU hails HC intervention on Shong Tong strike to resort to hold unto death hunger strike

Shimla, Jun 30 (UNI) Left affiliated CITU state union today warned to hold indefinite unto death hunger strike along with the Shongthong-Karcham workers before state secretariat here if state fails to concede demands and resole the long lasting deadlock.
Addressing media here today CITU state vice president Mr. Rakesh Singha and general secretary Mr. Kashmir Singh Thakur sought the holding of reconciliation meeting between the agitating workers and the principal employer M/S Patel Engineering Limited as the former is on strike since March 17 this year.
Duo also warned the state to be ready to face another call of indefinite fast unto death outside the state secretariat here may be begin from tomorrow likely to be join by the representatives of Shongthong-Karcham workers union.
