CISF rescues govt vehicle, suspending half down the cliff in HP

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) A unit of the Central Industrial Security Force on Friday saved a government vehicle, which slipped from the road and was suspending loosely half down the cliff above the Sutlej River at Rampur Samaj Road, Jhakri in Himachal Pradesh.

On Friday, at around 1515 hrs, the CISF Unit deputed at SJVNL project in Jhakri, got a rescue request from the local administration, regarding lifting a vehicle of the Geological Survey of India, which skid from the road and was hanging at the cliff loosely above the Sutlej River at Rampur Samaj Road.
