CISF nabs duo with 176.9 gms of gold at Kolkata Airport

New Delhi/Kolkata, Sep 16 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Sunday nabbed two people involved in smuggling of gold worth 5.50 lakh at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International airport, an official statement said here.
According to CISF, around 0631 hrs, a CCTV observer of CISF noticed suspicious movement of a passenger near customs locked Gate (Glass Door) located between International arrival conveyer belt no 15 and 16 of Airport.
The passenger was seen nervous and trying to hide his action and thereafter stealthily placed some items from beneath the locked glass door which was picked up by a visitor who was standing outside the glass door.
