CISF detects 9,900 USD & 4,000 Euros worth Rs 9.95 lakh at Mumbai Airport

New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Friday detected foreign currencies worth Rs 9.95 lakh at Mumbai airport from woman passenger who was flying to Dubai.
The passenger later identified as Ms Amar Jahan Firoz Shaikh was apprehended by the CISF security personnel at lady frisking booth of International Security Hold Area of Mumbai Airport, after suspicion.
On thorough checking and tactful questioning, the lady passenger accepted that she had concealed foreign currency in her body cavity. Thereafter, USD-9900 and Euro-4000 which is worth approximately Rs 9.95 lakh were recovered from the woman passenger.
