Panaji, Aug 17 (UNI) Goa chapter of CII Young Indians (Yi), part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Indian Medical Association (IMA) Goa have come together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a joint action plan for better planning and implementation for organ donation. The MoU was signed in the presence of Goa Legislative Speaker Pramod Sawant at CII Office in the city yesterday. The programme began with the screening of 'Phir Zindagi', a short film by ZTCC Pune, showing the attendees the importance of organ donation, and how it can save many more lives. Indian Medical Association Goa State President Dr Medha Salkar explained the theme for the year of IMA as Keep giving Carry on Living as well as gave a presentation of the activities of IMA. Young Indians Goa Chapter Chairman Rupesh Gauns spoke about Yi's Project, Gift An Organ. Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant organ donation said was very important and needed in Goa as well. UNI AKM NV SB 1301
