Chittoor Dist Collector directs officials to take up sanitation works across district to prevent fevers

Chittoor, Sep 12 (UNI) District Collector Bharat Narayan Gupta on Thursday directed MPDOs, MROs and Medical Officers of all mandals to take up sanitation works across the district to prevent spreading of fevers like Chicken Gunya, Dengue in the rainy season.
This rainy season is favourable for these fevers and also warned them if any case in any mandal registered regarding these fevers, the concerned Medical Officer, Panchayat Secretary and Special Officer are responsible for it.
During video conference with the officials concerned from Collectorate here, Gupta wanted the Revenue, Municipal and Health Department officials to create awareness on keeping premises of habitations clean avoiding water lagging nearby on war foot basis which gives scope to not spreading of these fevers in rainy season in rural areas as there are registering many cases in recent times.
