Beijing, Dec 14 (UNI) Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will be on a four-day tour to India from December 21 to 24 to attend the first meeting of the newly constituted India-China High Level Mechanism on Cultural and People-to-People Exchanges.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang on Friday said that Mr Wang will co-chair the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj.
The decision to establish the India-China High Level Mechanism on Cultural and People-to-People Exchanges was taken during the "informal" summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Wuhan in April this year.
