Children’s picture book ‘Mottainai Grandma’ rides Delhi Metro

New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) More than 100 primary school children were regaled by the story of a wasteful grandmother in a unique story telling session conducted inside a metro train at Dwarka station by Delhi Metro on Monday.
The National Book Trust (NBT) in collaboration with Kodansha Ltd, a Japanese publishing house and its project implementation partner in India, IJ Kakehashi Services Pvt Ltd (IJK) organised the storytelling session for children, with support from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The children’s picture book ‘Mottainai Grandma’, was published in India by NBT under a license agreement with Kodansha. This picture book of a wasteful grandmother was narrated at the event to more than 100 primary school students.
