Chhattisgarh: Sai announces salary relief for NHM staff

Raipur, June 13 (UNI) Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today announced a major relief for National Health Mission (NHM) employees by declaring payment of wages for the 33-day strike period, while reaffirming the state government's commitment to strengthening healthcare services across Chhattisgarh.
The announcement was made during the state-level convention of the Chhattisgarh National Health Mission Employees’ Association held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur.
Addressing a large gathering of NHM employees, Sai described them as the “backbone” of the healthcare system and acknowledged their crucial role during pandemic and in delivering medical services to people living in remote and inaccessible regions of the state. He said the contribution of NHM personnel in building a healthy Chhattisgarh is invaluable and assured them that the government respects and supports their work.

Raj HC asks state to submit election schedule for Panchayats and civic bodies by July 20

Jaipur, Jul 16 (UNI) The Rajasthan High Court has asked the State Government and the State Election Commission to submit before it by July 20, the detailed schedule for holding the Panchayat and Urban Civic Bodies elections in the state.
The division bench comprising acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma and Justice Sanjit Purohit issued the directives to State Election Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh and State Other Backward Classes (OBCs) Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar Jain, who attended the proceedings via video conferencing today.
