Chhattisgarh reports 492 fresh nCoV cases, 5 deaths

Raipur, Aug 12 (UNI) Chhattisgarh has registered as many as 492 fresh COVID-19 (Coronavirus) positive cases during the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 13552.
Meanwhile 269 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery. Five patients also succumbed to virus.
According to information received from health department out of 492 fresh COVID-19 positive patients who were identified in Chhattisgarh maximum 182 belong to Raipur whereas 56 patients belong to Rajnandgaon, 42 to Raigarh, 31 to Durg, 26 to Bastar, 19 to Sukma, 17 to Bilaspur, 14 to Narayanpur, 13 to Jashpur, 11 to Korba, 10 each to Baloda-Bazaar and Surajpur, 9 to Janjgir, 7 to Mahasamund, 5 each to Balod and Kanker, 23 to Bemetara , 3 each to Dhamtari and other state, 2 each to Gariaband and Bijapur and 1 each to Mungeli and Sarguja.
