Chhattisgarh: CM Sai felicitates India U-19 women's team vice-captain Mahak Narwase

Raipur, June 13 (UNI) Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today felicitated Rajnandgaon's young cricketer Mahak Narwase and extended his best wishes on her appointment as vice-captain of both the T20 and ODI squads of the Indian Under-19 Women's Cricket Team for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour.
Mahak Narwase paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister, who congratulated her on the achievement and honoured her with a shawl and memento.
Describing the achievement as a matter of pride for the entire state, Chief Minister said Mahak's success reflects the growing presence of Chhattisgarh's daughters in sports and other fields at the national level. He said her accomplishment, earned through hard work, discipline and dedication, will inspire young people across the state, especially girls.
