Chennai school students wins World Scholar's Cup event in USA

Chennai, Dec 10 (UNI) On a wintry day at Yale University, USA,
a team of students from Chennai made India proud, by winning
the World Scholar’s Cup tournament of Champions.
The event, marking culmination of year-long contests, had 1350
junior scholars from 59 countries, grouped into teams of three
for an intellectual showdown in a written essay contest, two
quizzes, and three debates.
Twentyfive students from Sishya, American International School
(AISC), KC High, APL Global, Sishya OMR, Vidya Mandir, Chettinad
Hari Shree, Church Park, Bhavans, Sri Sankara, and GEMS International
Dubai, were trained by A to Zee Creativity for the event.
Adam Mihir Libby (Sishya), Sibhi Aravindan (Sishya), and Tejas
Narayan (AISC) were the Champion team, repeating their victory
at the Kuala Lumpur Global Round in June 2018.
Aadi Sai won top Individual Junior Debater, the first for a
student from India, according to a release here.
