Chandumajra warns against tampering of poll expenditure record of Tiwari

Mohali, Jun 13 (UNI) Akali Dal senior vice-president and former MP from Anandpur Sahib Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra has warned the Punjab government against any attempt to tamper the election expenditure of Congress leader Manish Tiwari who was elected to the Lok Sabha from this constituency in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
He said the design was to bring down his election expenditure within permissible limit of Rs 70 lakh from Rs 90 lakh, a figure submitted by Tiwari.
Prof Chandumajra alleged that officials who were resisting pressure had been shifted to facilitate this tampering that would neither be tolerated nor allowed. This also included the Mohali deputy commissioner.
