Chennai, Aug 20 (UNI) The Indian Space Agency on Tuesday achieved
a significant milestone, when Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft, launched
from SHAR Range in Sriharikota on July 22, entered into the Lunar
Orbit, for a scheduled soft landing on the Moon's South Pole on
September seven.
ISRO in its update said the Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) manoeuver
was completed successfully today at 0902 hrs as planned, using the
on board propulsion system.
