Chandrababu became paranoid; scared of CBI probe: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Nov 16 (UNI) Reaffirming that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has become paranoid and the withdrawal of consent for CBI to operate in Andhra Pradesh is one such fear which is pushing the State towards decay, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has said the former has breached many a democratic and constitutional norms while sharing power with the Centre and even after pulling out of NDA and demanded the cancellation of latest GO.
‘TDP Government has issued a GO in August, in the process of renewal, giving consent for the CBI to operate in the state and it was withdrawn by issuing another GO on November 8, 2018 besides leaking it through its friendly media which projected Chandrababu Naidu as a person taking on the Centre but it looks ridiculous as he has been a habitual law breaker whether he is a partner of Centre or out of the coalition,’ party leaders Buggana Rajendernath Reddy and Ummareddy Venkateswarlu told reporters here on Friday.
A cursory look at the developments between the date of renewing the consent, in August, and withdrawing the consent, in November, shows that the major development that took place in between was the attack on Leader of Opposition and its Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who moved the court seeking a judicial or CBI inquiry.
