Ch Ayyannapatrudu is Andhra Assembly Speaker

Vijayawada, June 22 (UNI) Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu was on Saturday unanimously elected as Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Ayyannapatrudu was the only legislator to file nomination for the Speaker's post and Pro-tem Speaker G Butchaiah Chowdary announced his election to the post.
After performing pooja, he took charge as Speaker in his chamber today. His first signature as Speaker was on the file removing ban on ETV news channel, telecasting live proceedings of Assembly and Council.
