Raipur, Jan 20 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has decided to review the permission granted to Vedanta Group in the year 2016 for mining in state’s Baghmara Gold Mines.
Baghmara is considered as birthplace and ‘Karmabhumi’ of Shahid Veer Narayan Singh, the hero of 1857 freedom struggle.
Baghel took this decision at a meeting held to review works of mining department which is under his control. ‘Memories of Amar Shahid Veer Narayan Singh are precious heritage for us and granting permission for mining on his birth land is a matter of concern’, he said.
