Chennai, Jan 13 (UNI) Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari today said the centre, in a bid to combat pollution, would unveil a vehicle scrapping policy aimed at using recycled parts from automobiles that were more than 15 years old, besides setting up auto clusters across the country. Speaking at a pre-budget conclave organised by the CII and The Hindu Business line here, he said the proposed draft of the policy would be released soonStating that nearly 65 per cent of pollution was caused by vehicles that were more than 15 years old, he said the pollution could be reduced by using the recycled auto parts of these vehicles. He said the Centre was also mulling setting up of 'automobile clusters' across the country including one in Chennai. UNI GV 1640
