Centre to hold high-level water summit with States on Monday to boost water security and coordination

New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) The Ministry of Jal Shakti will convene a high-level national conference of senior-most Secretaries of Water Resources Departments of States and union Territories on Monday (July 13) to strengthen Centre-State coordination and review the progress of key initiatives aimed at improving water management and security across the country.
The All India Conference will be organised by the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD & GR).
The conference will bring together top water sector officials to discuss priority challenges, ongoing national programmes, and reforms in the management of water resources.
