Centre's Farm Bills anti-farmer, aims at corporatisation of Indian Agricultural sector : Chinta Mohan

Tirupati, Sep 28 (UNI) A day after President Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to three farm bills, Congress Working Committee (CWC) Special Invitee Dr Chinta Mohan on Monday said the bills were anti-farmer aimed at Corporatisation of Indian Agricultural Sector.
In a statement here, he said all Congress Prime Ministers had strived hard to make India self reliant in agriculture.
Former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had promoted mega irrigation infrastructures like Nagarjunasagar Dam ( AP) Bakra Nangal Dam ( Punjab and Haryana) and Hirakud Dam ( Odhisa) and also imported Rice from Myanmar (Burma) and Wheat from US to help farmers of these states.
