Centre resumes last round of negotiation with NSCN (IM) for Naga peace accord

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) Centre on Friday resumed the last round of negotiations with the NSCN (IM) leadership for the Naga peace, to resolve the three contentious issues including flag, constitution and territory in a amicable manner and the final draft of peace proposal before the forthcoming Independence Day.
Sources in the government said that the talks between concerned officials of the Union Home Ministry and the National Socialist Council of Nagaland(Isak Muivah) leaders, led by its general secretary Thuengaleng Muivah have been held at an unknown location in Delhi where representatives of Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh government have also been participating.
NSCN-IM has a long standing demand for territorial integration of all Naga-inhabited areas of the North East region of the country which was a major stumbling block in inking the final agreement.
