Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 3 2016 11:05PM Centre keen to take up river inter linking project in Odisha: Uma BhartiBhubaneswar, Feb 3 (UNI) Union water Resources Minsiter Uma Bharati today said the Union government is keen to take up two river interlinking projects in Odisha at a cost of Rs 30,000 crore to control flood Ms Bharati who met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here, later told newspersons that she had proposed Mr Patnaik to link Mahanadi with Godavari and the river Sankosh in Bhuta with Teesta, Mahananda, Subarana rekha and Mashanadi. She said out of the 800 Km long Mahanadi –Godavari link as many as 300 km would be in Odisha.
