Centre extends AP CS tenure for three months

Amaravati, Jun 3 (UNI) The tenure of Chief Secretary of government of Andhra Pradesh was extended for three months by the Centre.
The AP government sought the Central government on March 12 for approval for extension in service of its Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney and the Centre extended her service for three months. The 1984 batch IAS officer is to retired on June 30.
She is the first woman Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh and she was appointed when the government removed the then Chief Secretary L V Subramanyam was removed from the post abruptly by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
