New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) Opposing the decision of the Centre to hold the JEE and NEET examinations during the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress on Wednesday said the Centre did not create alternatives and now, it is stuck.
Cabinet Ministers from six non-BJP ruled states, in their private capacity, on Friday moved the Supreme Court against its nod to the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the JEE Mains and NEET-UG in the month of September, amid the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
The review petitions were filed by West Bengal law minister Maloy Ghatak, Jharkhand Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon, Rajasthan Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma, Chhattisgarh Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat, Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu and Maharashtra Education Minister Uday R Samant.
