Agartala, Jul 22 (UNI) The Inter-Ministerial Committee on North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS) under Ministry of DoNER has approved three projects of Rs 179.85 cr for Tripura, as committed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the swearing in ceremony of the BJP-IPFT government in the state.
The officials here today stated that in a meeting of the Inter Ministerial committee of DoNER was agreed to fund three schemes related to infrastructure in principle. Implementation of the schemes will commence once the DPRs are submitted for financial sanction.
The projects included the construction of Rain Water Reservoir on Upper catchment of River Howrah near Champaknagar, construction of Rain Water Reservoir on Champacherra near Champaibari along with rejuvenation of Katakhal drain of the city and construction of 132 KV Sub-station at Kanchanpur along with 132 KV Single Circuit Transmission Line from Kanchanpur.
