Central University of HP organises seminar on Advances in Greenhouse Technology

Dharamshala July 5 ( UNI) . The Vaidya Sushen Club, Department of Plant Science, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Shahpur campus on July 5, 2022 Organized a Seminar on Advances in Green House Technology.
The seminar was organized under the guidance of Prof. Pardeep Kumar, Dean, School of Life Sciences, President of HLSS, Head, Department of Plant Science and Dean Academics.
The guest speaker was Dr. Parveen Sharma, Professor, Department of Vegetable Sciences and Floriculture, COA, CSK HPKV Palampur, H.P. and Special Guest was Prof. Pardeep Kumar. All the faculty members, Research Scholars and Postgraduate students were present in the seminar.The main objective of the seminar was to acquire knowledge about the Green House technology in the agriculture field. He shared some interesting facts about green house for the agriculture field of the important crops like tomato, cucumber and capsicum. He especially highlighted the importance of protective cultivation in the field of agriculture.
