Centenary Birth Anniversary Celebration of Federal Bank Founder KP Hormis launched

Kochi, Oct 17(UNI) Centenary birth anniversary celebrations of Federal Bank founder KP Hormis has been launched.
Every year, the bank had been observing Founder’s Day as the CSR Day of the Bank. This year, the bank had unveiled an array of CSR activities as part of the celebrations.
The year-long Centenary birth anniversary celebration programmes would be held at Mookkannoor, the birth place of KP Hormis, on October 18.
Informing this at a news conference here, Federal Bank CSR Head Raju Hormis and HR head Thamby said that adopting Mookkannoor as a smart township was the highlight of the events. Signing of the organ donation declaration such as eyes after the death by the willing Federal Bank employees, their family members and customers also forms part of the centenary birth anniversary CSR Projects.
Kulangara Paulose Hormis aka K P Hormis was born on October 18, 1917, in Mookkanoor in Ernakulam district. Born in an agrarian family, he completed his studies in Thiruvananthapuram and Thiruchirapilly. After completing bachelor’s degree in law, he started his official life in Perumbavoor Munsif Court.
