Centenarian gets new lease of life at PGIMER

Chandigarh, Aug 17 ( UNI) A 103-year-old man got a new lease of life after a successful stenting procedure in Advanced Cardiac Centre of the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) here, with the hospital claiming that he was the oldest patient in the history of the department and also one of the oldest in the world.

Talking about the case, Dr. Himanshu Gupta Asst. Professor in ACC, PGIMER who did the procedure, commented that the patient was admitted with the complaint of chest pain and breathlessness.
