Celebrate year 2020 as 'Sushashan Sankalp Varsh': CM

Chandigarh Jan 26 (UNI) While reiterating his commitment for the welfare of all sections of the society, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Sunday that it has been decided to celebrate year 2020 as “Sushashan Sankalp Varsh” under which programmes and schemes would be prepared throughout the year to make the life of people easier besides making them self-reliant in field of health, education and safety. Apart from being Chief Minister, he is also holding the portfolio of the Finance Department and in the upcoming Budget; his focus would be on how to make every citizen happy, he added.
Mr Khattar was addressing the gathering at the State Level Function organized on the occasion of 71st Republic Day at Jind.
He said that premium of beneficiaries of various pension schemes of the Central Government would be paid by the State Government and for this Parivar Pehchan Patra would be given to the families. Also, the villages of the State would be made free from Lal Dora and village Sirsi of district Karnal would be the first such village.
