CCTV cameras will be installed in warehouses, offices by Mar 31: Hafed Chairman

Chandigarh, Jan 29 (UNI) To prevent irregularities and ensure transparency, Hafed Chairman Subhash Chandra Katyal on Wednesday said that CCTV cameras will be installed in all Hafed warehouses and offices by March 31.
The biometric attendance system will also be introduced in all warehouses and offices by March 31, Mr Katyal said after reviewing the work done by the Hafed with officials and staff at Hafed office in Kaithal today.
He said that the Chief Minister wants the sale of products of cooperative institutions like Vita and Khadi Board should be increased. Reviewing the current financial year of Hafed, he said that the financial year of district Kaithal was fixed at Rs 2.76 crore and the center has made sales of Rs 2.8 crore.
