CCTV cameras installed all over Pathankot: DGP

Moga Aug 18( UNI) Since the aftermath of January 2 terrorist attack on the air force station, Pathankot police with the approval of police headquarters, have brought the city under electronic surveillance by installing 520 cameras.
Stating this here today, Punjab DGP Suresh Arora said a team of senior officers, in the last one week was identified areas, where these cameras were required .
According to DJP 520 cctv cameras have been fixed at vantage points stop each cameras costs between rupees 5,000 and 10,000 depending on the quality. The DGP also ensured a lot of public city for the drive so that criminals become aware that the can be spotted.
