CCS Hisar signs MoU with ICAR-CIRB for promotion of skilled farmers

Hisar, Oct 15 (UNI) Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes, Hisar, to promote and accelerate the programmes of Skill Development for the farmers and members of the SC community.
The MoU has been signed by Dr MS Sidhpuria, Director of Human Resource Management, CCSHAU, Hisar and Dr SS Dahiya, Director, CIRB, Hisar, in presence of Prof KP Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.
Prof Singh said that for the skill development of Schedule Caste candidates, the CCSHAU is organising regularly training in the scheme 'Entrepreneurship and Skill Development' on different areas, including value-added milk products, preservation of fruits and vegetables, tailoring, mushroom production, value addition of cereals and pulses, organic farming, bee keeping, jewellery and handicraft making.
