Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Apr 6 2016 10:10PM CCP signs agreement with Zuari Agro for producing city compostPanaji, Apr 6 (UNI) Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has signed an agreement with Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited (ZACL) to efficiently use the municipal waste produced in the city towards producing city compost. A release issued here today said the agreement facilitated by the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) follows of the landmark Union Cabinet decision passed in January on the promotion of city compost, wherein a market development assistance of Rs 1,500 per metric tonne of city compost would be paid to the fertiliser marketing companies.
