CBI takes custody of Partha, Kalyanmoy in SSC scam

Kolkata, Sep 16 (UNI) A city court on Friday sent former West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee and an ex-education department official to CBI custody in connection with the School Service Commission (SSC) recruitment scam.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sought a court directive for the duo's custody so that they can be questioned together regarding their mode of operation in the appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff, which is mired in the alleged scandal.
