CBI registers 3 cases against self-proclaimed Godman Virender Dev Dixit

New Delhi, Jan 3 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday registered three cases
relating to different allegations, including rape and criminal intimidation, against self-proclaimed Godman
Virender Dev Dixit.

"Three cases were registered on the orders of Delhi High Court and earlier investigation of the cases
registered at Police Station Vijay Vihar against Virender Dev Dixit for alleged incident of rape, criminal intimidation, wrongful confinement, assault, voluntarily causing hurt and obstruction of duty on the
members of HC appointed committee taken over," the CBI said here.

The probe agency said it has also constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the matter relating to Adhyatmik Vishwa Vidhyalaya Ashram, Rohini, New Delhi on the orders of the HC.

The CBI said further investigation is in progress.
