CBI raids ex-CM Hooda's residence, 19 other locations

Chandigarh, Sep 3 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today conducted raids at 20 locations in Rohtak, Gurgaon, Panchkula, Chandigarh and Delhi, including at the residence of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, in connection with Manesar land allottment case.
Besides Hooda, the CBI also raided premises of former IAS officers M L Tayal, the then Principal Secretary, UPSC member Chattar Singh and serving IAS officer S S Dhillon.
The raids, which began in the wee hours, are still continuing at some locations.

Itanagar, Mar 29 (UNI) In a repeat of previous poll outcomes, the hilly Northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh is ‘set’ to witness seven candidates from ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including Chief Minister Pema Khandu, getting elected 'unopposed' to the 11th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh, 'without a contest'.
After ‘complete’ scrutiny of nominations filed for all 60 Assembly Constituencies, including the ‘adjourned’ scrutiny of papers done for Itanagar and Daporijo seats today, altogether seven validly nominated BJP candidates were found to be opponent free, and they are likely to be declared elected unopposed on Saturday after the last date of withdrawal of candidature, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Liken Koyu said.
