New Delhi, Jun 15 (UNI) Joining the woes in the film industry for the revamping of the Censor Board, veteran actor and former Rajya Sabha MP Shabana Azmi today said the Board’s role should be limited to only classifying films. "CBFC shud become a body that does not censor or even certify ONLY CLASSIFY films. That gives the audience the choice to watch a film or not,’’ Shabana tweeted. The comment by the actress comes after the recent controversy over the Censor Board’s cut on ‘Udta Punjab’ with the Bombay High Court overruling the decision of the Board to affect 13 cuts in the film. The Court passed the film with just one cut and an ‘A’ certificate. The controversy has several people in the industry to call for the revamping of the Censor Board. Several personalities in the film world have said that the role of the CBFC should be to certify films and not act as a censor. UNI AR SW SB 1445
