CBA organises workshop on Sports Psychology, Nutrition and Injury Prevention

Chandigarh, Apr 19 (UNI) With a view to provide a professional and suitable environment to the city’s budding shuttlers, the Chandigarh Badminton Association (CBA) in collaboration with the Chandigarh Sports Department organised the first ever seven-day workshop on Sports Psychology, Nutrition and Injury Prevention (in badminton) here at Sports Complex on Friday.
Around 80 budding players attended the workshop organised twice a day for consecutive days by nationally acclaimed Dr Rashi Sharma, Specialised in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy.
The Sports Psychology sessions aimed at to educate the players about the role of mental toughness and skills to enhance their performance and combat tournament fear.
