Casual labourers of KTD hit streets in support of their demands

Srinagar, Oct 20 (UNI) Casual labourers, including women, of Kashmir Tourism Department on Tuesday staged a dharna in Srinagar demanding among other things release of pending salaries and regularization of their services.
Raising slogans in support of their demands casual labourers, under the banner of J&K Casual Labourers United Front (JKCLUF) assembled in Partap Park in the heart of the city holding placards which reads “ Tourism casual labourers ke saath insaaf Karoo” and “ release salaries from July 2014”.
The protesting casual labourers are demanding release of their wages from July 2014 besides separate component in Budget 2021-22 and regularization of their services and implementation of minimum wages Act.
