Cash and gold worth Rs 60 lakh looted from Bank in Araria

Araria, May 27 (UNI) Armed criminals looted cash and gold worth Rs 60 lakhs from Bank of India (BOI) near SP residence in the district on Friday.
Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Singh said that about five to six armed criminals barged into a branch of Bank of India and took all staff into their captivity at gunpoint. Later, they looted cash and gold and managed to escape from the spot, he added.
Raids were being carried out to nab the criminals and recover looted cash and gold from them, he further added.
