Case of threat given to respectable Sharad Pawar on social media is serious: Ajit Pawar

Mumbai, June 9 (UNI) Opposition Leader of state assembly and Senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar on Friday demanded the Central and State governments should take serious notice of the threat received by Sharad Pawar and arrest the accused immediately.
Ajit Pawar in his press statement stated that, the threat given to respected Pawar Saheb on social media that 'You soon will be Dabholkar...' is a serious matter. Find the real mastermind behind the threat. It will be in the interest of the state to stop the anti-social forces of such thoughts at the right time," said Ajit Pawar.
Ajit Pawar further said that people of Maharashtra are capable of protecting respected Pawar Saheb.

But more worrisome is the fact that the forces that killed Dr Dabholkar have reactivated in the state.

As the elections are nearing, there will be attempts to create hatred in the society, to create differences, to polarize opinions by raising issues like caste, religion, sect, region, linguistics. They will be defeated.
The people of the country are now cautious. The blunders of those who create hatred in the society will not be tolerated. Will not fall prey to anyone's conspiracies, he said.
Maharashtra will continue to stand firm on the issues of farmers, problems of laborers, oppression of women, rising inflation, rising unemployment.

He also expressed his belief that the people of Maharashtra will not stand aside from the issues of development.

Ajit Pawar has also reiterated the demand that the public threat given to respected Pawar Saheb on social media is a serious matter and the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister should take serious note of it, added Ajit Pawar.
