Case filed against 6 including Ex-BSP MLA in Kanpur for alleged beating of contractor

Kanpur, Dec 17 (UNI) A contractor in the Kalyanpur area here filed a case of kidnapping and subsequent thrashing against six people including a former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA.
Circle Officer (CO) Rajesh Pandey on Monday here said Ravi Shukla, resident of Bithur area works as a contractor. He used to work in the same capacity for the ex-MLA also.
The contractor alleged that he had asked for some 'borrowing amount' for some personal work from the ex-MLA after which the former MLA kidnapped and thrashed him.Five others too were involved in his 'mishandling'.
