Car2Drive subscription services launches in Hyderabad; 6-more metro cities by next quarter

Hyderabad, Mar 29 (UNI) Bangalore-based Multi-brand luxury car ‘subscription’ services company Car2Drive, powered by Driven, launched its operations in Hyderabad on Friday.

Car2Drive is a start-up offering car subscriptions as an alternative to the traditional purchase option, which involves taking significant loans, the company said in a statement.

The company has delivered more than 45 luxury cars in Bangalore within 3-months of its operations worth over Rs 45 crores and we are planning to expand its operations in another 6 metro cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Baroda ,Delhi and Jaipur during the next quarter .

The company today also announced its official tie-up with SunRisers Hyderabad, the IPL franchise team from the city.

As its business model, Car2Drive powered by Driven, will be responsible for all the damages, repairs, insurance while the customer can take their favourite car with no hassles of down payment or registration charges, the release said.

Commenting on the launch of services in the city, Driven Managing Director, Ashwin jain, said, the mobility market is ever changing in its character, and new options are emerging by the day. we are expecting to deliver more than 500 vehicles over next three years.

The company is looking to raise USD 100 million from investors to spread our wings pan-India, Driven partner Kedar said on the occasion.

Car2Drive Managing Director Mohammed Asif, said, the company is the world’s first multi-brand car subscription service which is poised to cater to two sets of customers -- Premium, Global citizens, High net-worth jet setters, who can lease and own top-end, high-value cars and the aspiring car-lovers, who can use them on subscription basis.

Car2Drive CEO Neelima Mandava, said, our monthly subscription guarantees warranty, roadside assistance, maintenance, and insurance on a wide range of MUVs, SUVs, cross- overs, sedans, and hatchbacks.
