Capt Amarinder Singh mourns passing away of Punjab Kesari Delhi chief editor Ashwini Chopra

Chandigarh, Jan 18 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has condoled the passing away of ex-Member Parliament and Editor-in-Chief of Punjab Kesari, New Delhi, Ashwini Kumar (Minna) Chopra.
Chopra (63) breathed his last after a prolonged illness.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister recalled the remarkable services rendered by the senior journalist, who had always proactively championed the cause of freedom of press. With the demise of Ashwini Kumar a void had been created in the field of journalism, which was difficult to be filled, he added.
