Capable of contesting Aurangabad municipal polls alone: Congress

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Feb 22 (UNI) The Congress on Saturday expressed confidence that the party was capable of contesting in all 115 wards in the upcoming Aurangabad municipal polls if it fails to enter an alliance with the Shiv Sena and NCP.
Addressing mediapersons at Gandhibhavan here, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee Working President Muzaffar Hussain said, "The Congress is capable and ready to contest in all 115 wards in the muncipal polls if coalition parties are not ready to form an alliance."
He further said that the preparations are in full-swing in this regard as the local body polls are scheduled in the month of April.
