CAG endorses our stand on Polavaram : YSRCP

Hyderabad, Sep 20 (UNI) Reaffirming that the Party stand on the irregularities in Polavaram project has been vindicated, YSR Congress has said that the CAG report endorsed their views on the issue from land acquisition to kickbacks.
Speaking to the reporters here on Thursday, party leader and Chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Buggana Rajendernath said, ‘The project was taken over only to benefit contracts and get kickbacks and this view was endorsed by Computer Auditor General (CAG).
The Report basically focused more on irrigation sector and the irregularities therein has questioned the methodology involved in monitoring the expenses which is a slap in the face for the state government.
