Cabinet approves SEZ (Amendment) Bill, 2019

New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI) The Cabinet on Wednesday gave its approval for replacement of Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 by Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2019.
The decision was taken by the Cabinet-headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Bill will be introduced in ensuing session of the Parliament.
After the amendment of sub-section (v) of section 2 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, a trust or any entity notified by the Central Government will be eligible to be considered for grant of permission to set up a unit in Special Economic Zones, an official statement said.

New Delhi, Jun 4 (UNI) While wearing a mask is mandatory for all employees, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued a 40-point guidelines for its employees on working in office during Corona times that includes allowing entry only to asymptomatic persons into buildings, prohibiting gatherings of more than five persons and staggering work hours.
