New Delhi, Dec 31 (UNI) The Union Cabinet has given its approval to the Civil Nuclear Cooperation agreement with Australia for bolstering energy security by supporting the expansion of nuclear power in India. The agreement with Australia was brought into force on November 13, 2015 with the administrative arrangement for implementing the agreement, official sources said after the Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "The fuel supply arrangements with Australia will bolster energy security by supporting the expansion of nuclear power in India," the sources said. UNI GS SW AE 1603
